The magician proposes to perform “Three Impossible Things” with the help of a spectator. The spectator shuffles and cuts the deck between each of the three phases. And yet, a four of a kind in Kings is produced first, then they mysteriously gather in the same place after being separated, and finally, the four Aces will appear! The basic effect: The spectator and the magician each think of a card and these two cards end up side by side in the deck of cards. Which is stranger: that the magician's card is next to the spectator's card or the other way around? A disturbing and beautiful effect! In this version, the spectator is free to choose any card from the 52 cards in the deck, and for the climax, the card thought of by the spectator is the only card with a different back! Devastating! The magician explains that when he goes to a casino, he “steals” one of the cards and gives it a casino rating from A to Z, which he has marked on the back of each card. He shows that he has a dozen cards, which are thoroughly shuffled face up and face down, both by himself and by a spectator. It's a new idea on the "Center Deal", because we mix it with a "Second Deal", but without effort and moreover with color, so don't hesitate!  

It's the story of a drunk who wants to play poker. Being drunk as a skunk, he shuffles the cards face up and face down. Pretty bad start... but it ends very, very well! You will see… The DRUNKARD POKER is a great classic for magicians who are in their forties today, and more... The original trick was published if I remember correctly by LES CAHIERS DE LA MAGIE in the 60s. I don't know to whom we owe the idea and the basic routine of this wonderful classic. I obviously used this base to make something a little different. Those who know the original will surely enjoy this new version created by me in April 90. For a long time, I let this little routine (jealously kept secret by the magic intelligentsia) "sleep". A first draft came to me in 1977, but it was of little interest. In 1983, I reworked on a concept requiring the idea of the DRUNKARD POKER. These 2 versions 77 and 83 allowed me to arrive at The Drunkard poker as it has remained since.
