A new "killer" version on the theme of "Nervous Breakdown". The magician ribbon spreads a red-backed deck face down on the table. A spectator FREELY chooses one of the cards, which is set aside. The magician gives a folded paper to the spectator: this is his prediction. He will invite the spectator to make an imaginary trip: the latter takes out of a purse various virtual (and therefore invisible!) coins from different countries of the world. He chooses the country of origin of each coin. Then he chooses one of them, and flips it. The prediction is then read: the magician has not only predicted which coin it is, but also if it fell on the heads or tails side! A completely impromptu trick... really crazy!  

The magician shows a blue deck and sets it aside : this is the prediction deck. He now displays a red deck, shows that the cards are all different, and a spectator FREELY choose one card. He then takes the blue deck out of its case, and ribbon spreads it on the table: there is a red-backed card among the blue-backed cards... and that card is the same as the chosen card ! How to win a bet in a fun way, with a playing card and a coin!  

It is a marvel of a trick, ideal for parlour or stage conditions, and permitting to create a real pandemonium, very playful and with a tremendous end... Beyond the trick, you will see that it is really the play that you set up with the spectators that brings the magic... It is by seeing my so dear Ali Bongo using cardboard plates (for a completely different trick) that I came to this idea... Sure that you will not be disappointed!  

"Chinese Bit" is a classic coin magic trick. Everything is handed out for examination at the beginning and at the end of the trick, the transpositions of two coins for one are simply incredible! "Nervous Breakdown" is one of Dominique Duvivier's bestsellers: The spectator has a free choice from among the four kings, and it is shown that this king was predicted in advance. The pitch of the trick is the same, but here the choice is not just from among four cards, but from the whole deck. Yes, the spectator chooses a card freely from among the 52 cards in the deck, and this card was clearly predicted in advance! Success guaranteed!

The deck is shuffled beforehand by a spectator. A card is placed face down on the table: this is the prediction card. Three piles of cards are freely determined by the spectator. The top card of the first packet is turned over: it is, for example, a 4; the prediction card is shown: it is also a 4! And that's precisely how many spectators there are in your audience! The first cards of the two other piles are turned over: these are the two missing 4s! A trick you can ideally perform during a meal, for example. Small pieces of paper, stuck on the blade of a knife, appear and disappear at your will. A great classic of impromptu magic.

This trick is a close-up classic. A handkerchief is threaded onto a length of sewing thread. This thread is stretched in front of the magician, one end is held by his foot, and the other by his hand. The silk, placed on top, slides along the thread, but inexplicably obeys the magician's orders: it falls or stops at will! Gaetan Bloom started from the classical process, and applied his "Bloom Touch", which allows you to hand the props out for examination!  

This trick is a variation of "The Mystery Card" already described on this platform. Cards are successively selected from a red-backed deck. The magician shows that in his deck, there is a special card, the "Mystery Card", which has the particularity of being the only blue-backed card. The chosen cards and the "Mystery Card" will transform, transpose and mimic each other in a diabolical ballet!
