1970 was a special year for Dominique Duvivier in many ways: it was the year he turned 20, it was the year the Beatles (one of his favorite musical groups) broke up, and it was the year the famous Jerry's Nugget cards (his favorite cards) were manufactured. With these inspirations, Dominique Duvivier concocted a wonderful routine based on "Ace Assembly", with a scenario taking all these elements into account. A real gem! Dominique Duvivier organized an exceptional convention in 1995: The Mayette Days. He invited some of the greatest magicians of the time, of course including Larry Jennings, a legendary figure. This video shows a small part of his participation in this event that will remain in everyone's memory. Not to be missed!  

The principle: some pictures are shown, and the people present have a freewheeling discussion about what it evokes in them. Today, three protagonists: Gaetan Bloom, Alexandra and Dominique Duvivier, who share their memories, anecdotes and real-life stories about these great figures of magic. Lubor Fiedler is one of the most prolific creators in the magic world. One of the distinctive features of his creations is that the methods are simply as magical as the effects themselves! Dominique Duvivier performs one of Eddy Taytelbaum's wonders (no explanation). Three small different colors rings are enclosed in a small pagoda-shaped box. One of the colored is freely chosen by a spectator. The corresponding ring is mysteriously imprisoned on a small magic wand that has been placed through the pagoda!  

In 1995, Dominique Duvivier organized the landmark Mayette Days magic convention at the Cirque d'Hiver Bouglione. He booked many of the "giants" of stage and close-up magic, both French and foreign. Among them was Derek Dingle, an American magician who revolutionized close-up magic in the twentieth century. An unrivalled technician (coins, cards, etc.), Dai Vernon and Time Magazine called him "the greatest sleight-of-hand magician in the world".
