EASY TRICKS

  • Included In The Subscription "Passionate"
Card technique: How to cut the deck with one hand giving the appearance of enormous dexterity, when this sleight of hand is actually rather easy to perform.
  • Included In The Subscription "Beginner"
An easy, but effective trick. How to balance a deck on a single card placed vertically in the middle of the mat? An impossible balance!

One of the great classics of magic brought up to date. From the "Spectators" point of view: "The Linking Rings" are among the most important tricks in stage magic. The effect of solid penetrating solid has always intrigued even the most knowledgeable spectators. It is an absolute "killer"! From the "Magician" point of view: It's a hassle! You have to work hard to master the trick, the rings weigh a lot, and let's not talk about the noise! The solution: "The 21st Century ribbons". The trick is easy to do, the props are light, and there is no noise! And the effect is guaranteed!

Card technique: the deck is ribbon spread on the table. It is shuffled in small packets, yet the entire deck remains in the original order. Easy, but effective.
  • Included In The Subscription "Beginner"
A very strong impromptu trick with everyday objects. A spectator draws a simple geometric shape on a sugar cube with a pencil. The sugar is placed into a glass of water, the spectator's hand is placed over the opening of the glass. As the sugar dissolves in the water, the "emanation" of the inscription will rise into the spectator’s palm, and he will be amazed when he discovers that the inscription is now reproduced on his own hand!
  • Included In The Subscription "Addict"
A card is chosen, signed, and lost in the center of the deck. The deck, whose faces and backs of the cards have been clearly shown, is put back into its case, which represents a washing machine! And indeed, when the deck is taken out of its case, the cards are now blank on both sides, except for the chosen and signed card, which is still printed!

A real little gem of mentalism, with five objects. While they are covered by a scarf, and you are standing with your back to them, the spectator removes them one by one and puts them, according to your directions, in his pockets. There is a prediction in view from the beginning. At the end, the prediction reveals that such and such an object will be in such and such a pocket, and the prediction proves to be correct! No stooges, no electronics, and a real surprise!

The deck is shuffled copiously by the spectator, and then he chooses a card under crazy conditions. However, this card is the mate of the one chosen by the magician (under the same laboratory conditions). And to top it off, it was even predicted in advance by the magician! A real punchy trick !

The magician displays about 15 indifferent cards and asks a spectator to think of one of the "possible cards" in the packet. When the spectator names the card he has thought of, that it is impossible... because when the cards are displayed again, they are all the same, and different from the spectator's card, which he could not choose! The cards specially printed to perform this trick are provided in Dominique Duvivier's "Let's Have a Dream" trick, which you can get in our Mayette magic store: https://mayette.com/en/card-towers/1111-let-s-have-a-dream

The scenario and patter of this trick (a Duvivier/Bloom co-production!) are quite funny: they explain how the little peas are sorted, and put in cans according to their size. A completely automatic trick, very funny, and very intriguing!
  • Included In The Subscription "Addict"
Five spectators each choose a brown paper bag under extreme laboratory conditions. The sixth and last bag is for the magician. Each bag contains a surprise gift: the spectators receive various trinkets: candies, some toilet paper, a paper napkin, etc... But in the magician’s bag, there are... lots of banknotes! A great classic revisited by Gaetan Bloom. Even if you know the previous versions, you will be fooled! Gaetan gives you the instructions to make the trick by yourself, or you can buy it in our Mayette magic store: https://mayette.com/en/salon-et-scene/2280-july-14

About fifteen identical cards are shown: they are all 8 of Clubs. The cards are transformed one by one, and we find ourselves with all different cards! The cards specially printed to perform this trick are provided in Dominique Duvivier's "Let's Have a Dream" trick, which you can get in our Mayette magic store: https://mayette.com/en/card-towers/1111-let-s-have-a-dream

A great classic of close-up magic. How to give the illusion of swallowing a knife! Easy to do, but very deceptive.
  • Included In The Subscription "Passionate"
Inspired by a technique used by Edward Marlo, Dominique Duvivier offers you a spectacular Ace journey. The effect is repeated, but this time with the Ace chosen by the spectator! Success guaranteed!

This video is the live performance of this trick already published on Double Fond TV. A trick that can even be done over the phone, where everyone understands except the spectator… It's great!

PATEO Force (Pick Any Two, Eliminate One) is a method of forcing a particular object from a set of objects created by Roy Baker. It involves the spectator and magician in a rotating selecting and elimination process, leaving only one object from an unlimited number of objects.
