It is a marvel of a trick, ideal for parlour or stage conditions, and permitting to create a real pandemonium, very playful and with a tremendous end... Beyond the trick, you will see that it is really the play that you set up with the spectators that brings the magic... It is by seeing my so dear Ali Bongo using cardboard plates (for a completely different trick) that I came to this idea... Sure that you will not be disappointed!  

For lack of a pet, Toto is a white bean adopted by the magician! The latter shows a glass filled with white beans. The beans are abundantly shuffled, and despite this, he finds the only bean on which his name is written: "Toto"! Success guaranteed!

Card technique: The principle of the peek is to secretly know the identity of a card in the deck. This particular technique has already been described by Alexandra Duvivier.  

A card is freely chosen, lost in the deck; the deck is enclosed in its case. A silk is handed for examination, and placed on top of the case. Despite these laboratory conditions, the chosen card will disappear from the deck and end up in the folds of the silk!  

An exceptional card transposition! Two cards are chosen, and lost in the deck. The magician asks the first spectator what the value of his card is (e.g. a 9). He takes out the corresponding four of a kind. 1st effect: the chosen card (e.g. the 9 of Diamonds) is magically turned face down among the three other 9s, which remain face up. 2nd effect: The magician announces that the second card in the deck will turn over. When he ribbon spreads the deck, astonishment, it is not the second card chosen that is face up, but... the 9 of Diamonds! 3rd effect: the card face down in the four of a kind is shown: it is the other chosen card! PATEO Force (Pick Any Two, Eliminate One) is a method of forcing a particular object from a set of objects created by Roy Baker. It involves the spectator and magician in a rotating selecting and elimination process, leaving only one object from an unlimited number of objects.  

A very original and magical way to give your business card! The magician displays his business cards. A spectator signs one. Incredibly, next to his signature, a message appears when it was not there before! Easy to do.  

According to the legend, this trick mystified Dai Vernon, "The Professor", and subsequently devastated the magic elite! A card is chosen and lost under impossible conditions. No matter, it was not only predicted in advance by the magician, but he produced it in a mysterious way! An extraordinary trick that will give happiness to you... and to your audience!  

Basic Technique: You ask the spectator to choose a card, but you oblige them to pick the one already pre-selected by you. The Cross Cut Force is one of the easiest forcing methods; it does not require any manipulation.  

Two spectators each choose a card from a packet of cards cut in half. The choices are clear-cut; the spectators do everything. However, when these two halves of the cards are turned over, they match each other and fit together perfectly to form a single card! No manipulation required. The ideal trick to use your old cards!  

The magician shows two blank cards, on which are handwritten the names of two cards: 5 of Diamonds and 6 of Clubs; this constitutes a kind of "Open Prediction" with two cards. One card from the deck is chosen by the spectator. It's face down, and nobody knows it yet. The magician gives himself 4 possibilities of having predicted the chosen card with his two prediction cards: it could therefore be a 5 or a 6 for value, and Diamonds or Clubs for suit. The chosen card is turned over: nothing to see, since it's the 4 of Hearts! The magician is dismayed, and turns over the two written cards on the table: they are both 4 de Hearts!
