Mikael Szanyiel

Mikael Szanyiel

Mikael Szanyiel is a French magician and mime artist.

He was born in December 1981 and became interested in magic at the age of 8. He decided to teach himself using magic kits, cassettes, and books.

He was inspired more or less directly by Nestor Hato, Jean-Philippe Loupi, David Copperfield, Jeff McBride, Michael Ammar, Dominique Duvivier, Gaetan Bloom, Jerome Murat, Richard Mc Dougall, Tina Lenert, and others.

At 18, he dropped out of school and moved to Paris, where he trained at the Marceau mime school and worked evenings doing close-up magic in restaurants.

He is known for his iconic, offbeat opera singer act combining magic, mime, and comedy. His unique style, at the crossroads of illusion, gesture, and humor, makes him one of the most singular artists of his generation. Humor, lots of humor, surprises, lots of surprises, and then gags, always gags, all with a unique rhythm! Rarely do acts combine theater, comedy, magic, and music. Even rarer are acts that delight young and old alike.

From the Olympia in Paris to the London Palladium in London, via the National Assembly in France and the Magic Castle in Hollywood, he has performed on some of the world's most prestigious stages.

He has been requested by major brands and companies for exclusive close-up performances.

His shows have enchanted prestigious audiences at special events, charity galas, and private parties.

He has performed in over 40 countries, as well as on numerous television shows around the world.

He is the winner of many prestigious awards, including two distinctions at the World Championships of Magic (FISM) and the legendary Golden Lion Award at the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas, presented in person by Siegfried & Roy...
