Tom Stone

Tom Stone

Tom Stone is the stage name of Thomas Bengtsson, a Swedish magician, editor and author. He was born on October 28, 1967, and presently lives in Stockholm, Sweden.

When he was seven, he came upon a book in which included two chapters on conjuring. It was the beginning of his passion for magic.

He first studied engineering and graphic design; once done with the educations, he promptly forgot all he had learned and became a magician instead!

Since then, he’s become obsessed with the art and craft.

Tom is today one of the magic world’s hottest creators, lecturers and writers.

Besides being a columnist in Genii magazine, Tom has written many books and articles for professional magicians and was rewarded with the 2015 Creative Fellowship by the Academy of Magical Arts in Hollywood.

He travels the world to coach other magicians on how to become even better and performs in all contexts from cultural festivals in Portugal, theater magic in Stockholm, Japanese TV, and repeated engagements at the legendary Magic Castle in Hollywood.

Tom Stone continues to exercise his creative passion, and he remains one of the freshest and smartest thinkers in the conjuring field.

As his work proliferates, his ideas reach more and more people. No doubt, there already magicians who have hints of Tom’s influence in their work.
