After thoroughly shuffling the deck, the spectator deals the cards one by one onto the table; the card on which he stops is the one that the magician had predicted in advance, thanks to his intuition! To buy an ordinary deck of cards click here.

The magician explains that when he goes to a casino, he “steals” one of the cards and gives it a casino rating from A to Z, which he has marked on the back of each card. He shows that he has a dozen cards, which are thoroughly shuffled face up and face down, both by himself and by a spectator. Five cards are randomly selected by a spectator, who is really lucky, as the cards spell out the word “Lucky”! And when these cards are turned over, they form a royal flush in spades! Success guaranteed!

Basically, “Hand Mucking” is a gambler's technique for secretly exchanging one or more cards during a card game. Applied to card magic, these techniques allow you to magically transform one card (or several) into another (or several others). To buy a regular deck of cards click here.

A card is chosen and lost. The magician takes out several groups of five cards. The spectator indicates which group contains their card. He clearly shows that he has five cards in his hand, then just as clearly makes one disappear... which happens to be the spectator's card! The card is found face up in the deck! Everything is handed out for examination at the end. To buy: - a regular deck of cards click here. - some single regular cards click here.

The magician holds a four of a kind in Aces in his hands. The cards magically turn face up one by one at first, then all together in a second step. Then the Ace of Spades disappears and reappears. It is then shown that the four Aces now each have a different back! Everything is handed out for examination.

The magician claims to have psychic powers and the ability to see into the future. He places two cards face down on the table: these are his two prediction cards. A spectator chooses two cards: one is picked at random, and the other is freely thought of. The predictions are revealed: they are the twin cards of the chosen cards! Dominique Duvivier explains that when the idea for this bet came to him, it changed his whole life... he hopes it will do the same for you! This is the trick where the spectator does the trick himself (in appearance, of course!). He shuffles the deck, cuts it, freely chooses his card, reshuffles the deck after the card has been lost... and it is found at the number he has himself designated! Boris Wild also gives us several variations for revealing the chosen card! This trick is included in the VHS program “Les Etoiles de la Magie Moderne: Boris Wild” (Stars of Modern Magic: Boris Wild), published by Mayette Magie in 1997. A card chosen by a spectator ends up at the number determined by that same spectator. A very interesting variation on the ACAAN (Any Card At Any Number) theme. To buy a regular deck of cards click here.

This trick is included in the VHS program “Les Etoiles de la Magie Moderne: Boris Wild” (Stars of Modern Magic: Boris Wild), published by Mayette Magie in 1997. The spectator shuffles the deck and then cuts to a card. The magician then chooses a card at random from the deck and the spectator’s card then changes into the mate of the magician’s card. At the end, the spectator's card ends up mysteriously sandwiched between the two mates! To buy a Boris Wild Marked Deck (Phoenix Edition) click here.
