The magician displays two decks of cards, one of which is a prediction deck that he sets aside. The spectator, after examining and shuffling the other deck, chooses a card and loses it, all under laboratory conditions. The magician then explains that there is a phenomenon of synchronicity between the two decks... which allows him to find the card despite these impossible conditions! The magician shows a piece of paper folded in four: this is his prediction. The deck is handed out for examination. The spectator shuffles it, cuts it, chooses a card, and returns it to the deck, all under laboratory conditions. The prediction is revealed: it says “Seven of Diamonds.” The spectator is astonished, as it is not his card. “But I didn't say it would be YOUR card. It's MY prediction card!” The magician then spells out “Seven of Diamonds,” placing one card per letter... the last card is the spectator's! Success is guaranteed with this true miracle! NOTE : Dominique explains the trick with the 4 of Diamonds, which of course works in French, but not in English; you have to perform the trick with the 7 of Diamonds, which spells with the right number of letters.
