Here is the introduction to the VHS video program “Les Etoiles de la Magie Moderne: Boris Wild” (Stars of Modern Magic: Boris Wild), recorded at Le Double Fond and published by Mayette Magie in 1997. The tricks are explained as they are published on our streaming platform.

This is the trick where the spectator does the trick himself (in appearance, of course!). He shuffles the deck, cuts it, freely chooses his card, reshuffles the deck after the card has been lost... and it is found at the number he has himself designated! Boris Wild also gives us several variations for revealing the chosen card! This trick is included in the VHS program “Les Etoiles de la Magie Moderne: Boris Wild” (Stars of Modern Magic: Boris Wild), published by Mayette Magie in 1997. This trick is included in the VHS program “Les Etoiles de la Magie Moderne: Boris Wild” (Stars of Modern Magic: Boris Wild), published by Mayette Magie in 1997. The spectator shuffles the deck and then cuts to a card. The magician then chooses a card at random from the deck and the spectator’s card then changes into the mate of the magician’s card. At the end, the spectator's card ends up mysteriously sandwiched between the two mates! To buy a Boris Wild Marked Deck (Phoenix Edition) click here.

Dominique Duvivier demonstrates a new Eddy Taytelbaum wonder (no explanation). Two Chinese coins, one with a hole and one without, mysteriously switch places. Everything is handed out for examination! As usual, the props is superbly manufactured.

The spectator chooses a card under laboratory conditions and turns it face down in the middle of the deck, which is face up. The magician takes a second deck that had been set aside in full view of the audience before starting. A card is turned over in the deck... it is the same as the spectator's! A true miracle! This trick is included in the VHS program “Les Etoiles de la Magie Moderne: Boris Wild” (Stars of Modern Magic: Boris Wild), published by Mayette Magie in 1997 To buy: - a Boris Wild Marked Deck (Phoenix Edition) click here. - an “Invisible Deck” click here.

To make the four Aces appear in the wink of an eye! This variation, discovered by Dominique Duvivier in 1998, allows several random cards to be shown before performing the effect. Hyper flash, hyper effective! To buy an ordinary deck of cards click here.

The magician and the spectator perform exactly the same actions with the banknotes they are holding in their hands. When they each unfold their notes, the magician's has changed from €20 to €100!

A prediction deck is handed to a first spectator beforehand. The magician now writes a prediction on a piece of cardboard. In another deck, a second spectator chooses a card. The magician shows his prediction... he has written a number, for example 38. The prediction deck is now taken out, and  38 cards are counted... the last one turns out to be the spectator's card! This trick is included in the VHS program “Les Etoiles de la Magie Moderne: Boris Wild” (Stars of Modern Magic: Boris Wild), published by Mayette Magie in 1997. Michael Ammar welcomes you to his "New Frame of Mind". It explains two applications of the finger-palming technique: first, how to mysteriously produce a coin from inside a pen cap, and second, how to make the coin pass through a pants pocket. Step into the wonderful world of this great magician. Ray Kosby lectured at the Double Fond on May 22, 1997 (unfortunately, the ending is missing here). You can enjoy his magic in seven parts. You’re about to discover a fabulous artist who will share with you mainly his card secrets (including his famous one-handed version of the “Ambitious Card”!), but also a trick with an apple that changes color, a can of Coke that closes itself after being opened, a coin trick… True artistry!

“Princess Card Trick” is one of the greatest classics of mentalism with cards: a card is thought of in a small packet of cards—no forcing! Without any indication from the spectator, the magician makes the card disappear! This version uses only a regular deck of cards! A true miracle. To buy a regular deck of cards click here.

Michael Ammar welcomes you to his "New Frame of Mind". Here, he gives a “mini-workshop” explaining how to practice and rehearse to perform a fake coin transfer from one hand to the other as naturally as possible (technique, movement, intent, body language, etc.), which will completely blow your audience away!
