A very simple Ace Assembly routine. The four Aces are laid out on the table in a row, with three indifferent cards placed on top of each Ace. The first three Aces disappear from their respective packets and collect in the last packet. Neat and tidy!  To buy an ordinary deck of cards  click here.

A card is chosen and lost. The magician takes 10 cards from the deck; by “chance,” the chosen card is among those 10 cards. But when he shows them again, there are only 9 left, the chosen card has disappeared from the deck... and is found face up among the rest of the deck, which is face down. The overhand shuffle is one of the easiest and most common ways to shuffle a deck of cards. It’s an excellent shuffle for magicians, because laymen are already familiar with it and it allows you to do some excellent controls and false shuffles while shuffling the deck this way. The spectator chooses a card, which is lost in the deck. A magic pass, and a card mysteriously turns up face up in the center of the deck; but against all odds, it is not the one chosen by the spectator: it is the 5 of Hearts. The magician then counts the cards one by one from the 5, and the fifth one turns out to be... the chosen card. The four cards that were counted to get to the 5 of Hearts are turned face up... they're the four Aces! And as the icing on the cake, the magician shows that he couldn't have done it any other way, since the other cards in the deck are shown: they're all blank!
