The magician shows a piece of paper folded in four: this is his prediction. The deck is handed out for examination. The spectator shuffles it, cuts it, chooses a card, and returns it to the deck, all under laboratory conditions. The prediction is revealed: it says “Seven of Diamonds.” The spectator is astonished, as it is not his card. “But I didn't say it would be YOUR card. It's MY prediction card!” The magician then spells out “Seven of Diamonds,” placing one card per letter... the last card is the spectator's! Success is guaranteed with this true miracle! NOTE : Dominique explains the trick with the 4 of Diamonds, which of course works in French, but not in English; you have to perform the trick with the 7 of Diamonds, which spells with the right number of letters. Since he’s a bit superstitious, the magician shows his lucky charm: it’s a card he’s folded into quarters and held together with a clothespin. A card is freely chosen, signed, and lost in the deck using various shuffling methods from different countries. He finishes with the Chinese shuffle, which mixes the cards haphazardly, face up and face down. All the cards mysteriously end up facing the same way, except for one; when the spectator names their card, the magician reveals the face of the card on which “Exact” is written! He ends with a mind-blowing climax: the chosen card turns out to be the folded card that was stuck in the clothespin—and which had been in plain sight since the beginning of the trick! Three spectators each freely choose a card. Using his Joker, the magician reveals the three cards one by one in a playful manner. The "exact" protocol of the "Collector" principle as taught to Dominique by Derek Dingle is scrupulously respected here, namely: - The four Aces are placed face up aside at the beginning of the trick. - Three cards are chosen, and are lost in the deck. - The four Aces are put on top of the deck. - And without shuffling or any other manipulation, the Aces "collect" the chosen cards, i.e. they are found face down in between the four face up aces! Allan Ackerman proposes his own version, the techniques are original, and the chosen cards are really clearly lost in the middle of the deck (no Tilt Move!).
