He then takes a deck out of its case, and mysteriously produces the card that had been freely thought of! You show the 10 of Diamonds, and place it face down on the table. Then you take the other three 10s, and put the deck aside. But these three cards are particularly weird because if you turn the 10 of Spades face down and spread this small packet again, there is only one card left face up; and what's more, a fourth card has just materialized in your hands! The 10 of Diamonds on the table turns first into the 10 of Spades, then instantly into the Ace of Spades! And the icing on the cake is that you no longer have the 10s, but a Royal Flush in Spades! Imagine that you have to perform in the following situation: you are in a train, so you are standing, the spectators are sitting, they are right in front of you, you have to fight against the sway of the train... this trick has been designed for these particular conditions. The four Aces are shown to have the remarkable property of magically flipping face up and face down in pairs. A real delight for your spectators.  

The magician displays the Ace of Spades, which he sets aside on the table. He also has some blank faced cards. These cards will be printed one by one and turn into normal cards. And in the end, the Ace of Spades that was set aside has now turned blank!  

A card freely chosen among eight cards turns out to be the only foreign card in the packet, since it is clearly the only card with a different back!  

"Sleeve Aces" routine is done slowly and gently. This routine follows Dominique Duvivier's philosophy of not seeing, not feeling, not assuming, to achieve an even purer effect. Card technique: Dominique Duvivier shares with you a technique he created in 1998 to switch one deck of cards for another.  

The new generation ambitious card! A card is chosen, signed, and lost in the center of the deck. The deck, whose faces and backs of the cards have been clearly shown, is put back into its case, which represents a washing machine! And indeed, when the deck is taken out of its case, the cards are now blank on both sides, except for the chosen and signed card, which is still printed!  

This wonderful routine will prove that like Lucky Luke, the magician can be faster than his own shadow! Several cards are successively teleported at the speed of light from the deck into his card holder. And the ultimate journey: the card that was freely chosen and signed ends up in the card holder at the end of the trick. Success guaranteed!  

The magician shows four 10s of Clubs on one side, and four Queens of Clubs on the other. He exchanges a single card from each packet, and the others mysteriously follow. He performs the effect a second time, and as a climax, he shows that he now has a four of a kind in 10s on one side (Spades, Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds), and a four of a kind in Queens on the other side! Everything is handed out for examination.  

The magician holds in his hands a small packet made up only of picture cards: kings, queens and jacks. He displays them very clearly two by two, the pairs of cards are put together completely randomly, and are placed one on top of the other on the table; no suspicious gestures are made. The spectator squares the packet, and spreads it face up on the table. The mates are now together: the black kings are together, as well as the red jacks, etc…  

Card Technique: First published in the book "Duvivier Magic", published by Kaufman & Greenberg in 1996. Originally a flourish by John Cornelius (which is described in detail in the video "Cornelius Turnover"), it allows you to turn a card face up nicely by throwing it in the air. Dominique Duvivier has adapted this technique to perform a double lift. This way of doing things is extremely deceptive!  

Any four cards are set aside, then a card is chosen from the deck. And then the madness begins! The random cards all turn into the chosen card! Then suddenly they become Aces! But that's not all: things get really complicated with the magician's pockets. A very subtle routine with many twists and turns. For those who like technique, it's pure happiness!  

Dominique Duvivier invites you to a journey back in time. He explains that he has developed a prototype with small objects (i.e. his deck of cards), and that it is up to others to develop the concept to human size! A card is chosen, and lost in "extreme" laboratory conditions. Despite this, it will "go back in time" twice... This quasi-mystical experience will end with an astounding climax.
