Two cards are chosen under laboratory conditions, and are lost in the deck, which e is divided into two piles, one face-up, the other face-down. The cards of each pile are now dealt together one by one. When one of the spectators sees his card, he has to say stop... and the corresponding face-down card turns out to be the other spectator's! A ++ version of the trick : Approximately how many? Some cards are ribbon spread on the table. A spectator is invited to guess exactly how many cards there are: there seem to be more than twenty. A coin disappears from the magician's hands, and ends up in the center of the deck... above the spectator's chosen card! The effect is repeated several times... but the last time, the coin is enclosed in a piece of paper, and when it is found in the center of the deck, the four Aces appear! In an interview, Larry Jennings is asked what he thinks is the most impressive trick in Dai Vernon’s repertoire, of whom he was one of the closest friends. Larry Jennings cites and demonstrates this effect, which is a hell of a Tsunami; but he doesn't explain it! Tsunami is a Japanese word that means "tidal wave". It is a trick that will devastate the brains of your audience, whether they are laymen or magicians. The spectator chooses a card, and loses it under extreme laboratory conditions. Despite this, the magician finds the chosen card!

The magician displays his deck of cards, and eight rather special cards: four of them are blank-faced, and on the face of each of the other four ones, a bumblebee is drawn. One by one, the bumblebees change places with the blank cards, and at the end, the magician strikes the packet of bumblebees... which all end up crushed! He has a spectator name a four of a kind (for example the 5s), which he takes out of the deck, only to reintroduce them in very different places in the deck.
