The "elders" thought that magic could only be divided into 3 families of effects: appearance, disappearance, transformation. In the last century, Winston Freer revolutionized magic by identifying 17 families. Dominique Duvivier developed the concept and today, his work is based on 30 families! This trick is a magnificent "mix of genres". He presents two decks linked by a golden thread, and from there, he develops a whole routine where he invites a maximum of effects, each one as incredible as the other! A fabulous saga that will leave your audience speechless!

The magician takes out the four Kings from the deck, which he hands out for examination; he explains that these four cards are magic! Effectively, they turn successively into identical kings: Diamonds, then Hearts and Clubs... and surprise, he now has the four Aces in his hands... which instantly turn back into Kings. Finally, the faces of the cards of the rest of the deck having been shown first clearly different... all become identical! We now only have 4s of Diamonds! A festival of effects that proves that this deck really does have cards with multiple faces! The deck is shuffled by a spectator. Two poker hands are determined under "laboratory conditions". However, whichever hand the spectator chooses, he will lose, because the magician will have a Royal Flush in Spades! To buy a “Regular Bicycle Rider Deck” click here.

Renelys was Dominique Duvivier's first mentor when he was very young. He used to do a two card transposition and to do so, he used a stripper deck. Dominique explains two ways to do this effect, but with regular cards. To buy a “Regular Bicycle Rider Deck” click here.

A card is freely chosen (for example the King of Clubs). The magician randomly takes out about ten cards, shows them - any cards -, and sets them aside face down on the table. The chosen card is placed with the cards that have been set aside, but returns to the deck. The same effect is repeated several times... and the magician shows that now all the cards he has in his hands are Kings of Clubs! In the end, all the cards he has in his hands become different again, and when he shows the random cards he had set aside, they are transformed into the whole sequence from Ace to King of Spades! Success guaranteed! To buy a “Regular Bicycle Rider Deck” click here.

This video is the live version of "Elastic Sandwich" already published on Double Fond TV. The deck is shuffled by a spectator. The two red kings are handed out for examination, joined by a rubber band, and set aside. One card is freely chosen, and placed in the center of the deck. The card disappears from the deck and reappears "sandwiched" between the two red kings! Everything is handed out for examination. A "Tsunami" of madness! A card is chosen and lost in extreme laboratory conditions. However, the magician finds it without asking any questions. Based on a Bob Hummer idea, inspired by a Joshua Jay trick, Dominique Duvivier has created this magnificent version. Great art! To buy a “Regular Bicycle Rider Deck” click here.

The 2022 version of the "The Shpoo Prophecy" that Dominique Duvivier created in the 1990s. The "The Shpoo Prophecy" was described in the book "Magie Duvivier" edited by Richard Kaufman in 1996, written by Jon Racherbaumer, and illustrated by Ton Onosaka. A maelstrom of effects that ends with a deck with different backs. To buy the trick “Colors” click here.

"Business Card" is one of the great classics of card magic. The pitch is as follows: The magician shows a piece of paper folded in four that he places in side view on the table: this is his prediction. A deck of cards is shuffled. The deck is ribbon spread face down on the table and a spectator places a business card where he wants it (no force). The two cards on either side of the business card are shown; the prediction is opened: both cards are written on it! A "magic" way to hand out your business card ! In this version, we do the same thing, but without the business card! To buy a “Regular Bicycle Rider Deck” click here.

"Who loses wins!", this is the motto that your spectators will not be able to adopt with this trick in the form of a game, where they will never be able to guess how many coins there are under the magician's silk. In coin magic, the use of ancient Chinese coins is oriental, traditional and elegant. An attractive, effective, visual and easy to do trick. To buy “CCS” click here.

This trick is a variation of "The Mystery Card" already described on this platform. Cards are successively selected from a red-backed deck. The magician shows that in his deck, there is a special card, the "Mystery Card", which has the particularity of being the only blue-backed card. The chosen cards and the "Mystery Card" will transform, transpose and mimic each other in a diabolical ballet! Based on a routine by Gaetan Bloom, here is Dominique Duvivier's version which combines Prediction and Open Prediction, this last effect being performed in double! An absolute killer! The magician shows two decks of cards in their cases: one red and one blue. The blue deck is taken out, the cards are shuffled, a card is chosen and lost in the deck by a spectator in extreme laboratory conditions. The red case is opened, it contains only a piece of paper folded in four, which is unfolded: it has "12" written on it. The spectator counts the cards from the top of the deck: the 12th card is his!
