The magician has his audience witness the difference in conception as to what a magic effect is between himself and his son. A generational conflict masterfully resolved, illustrated by a multitude of effects as incredible as they are original. A must... not to be missed under any circumstances!

Another method from Dominique Duvivier to perform a double lift that is as aesthetic as it is effective! To buy an ordinary deck of cards click here.

Dominique Duvivier offers a variation on the classic "2 Red Kings" by Larry Jennings. Two red kings sandwich a freely chosen card. The card dematerializes in the magician’s fingers then reappears face up in the face down deck. To buy an ordinary deck of cards click here.

A " Tsunami " of madness! Tsunami is a Japanese word that means "tidal wave". It is a trick that will devastate the brains of your audience, whether they are laymen or magicians. The deck can be borrowed, examined and thoroughly shuffled by a spectator, who cuts a small packet and sets it aside, hidden from the magician's view. Then he chooses a card, and loses it in the deck. The spectator counts how many cards he had put aside... and the chosen card is in the same position in the rest of the deck! A real killer. A blank card lays on the table at the beginning of the trick. The deck is displayed, and shuffled by taking half the cards face up, the other half face down. The spectator freely chooses one of the face-down cards. A magic pass, and the deck is spread out on the table: all the cards are now face up, except for one which is face down: it's the chosen card! The blank card is turned face up: it's the same card as the chosen one! New magic pass: all the backs of the cards of the deck are now blank! Success guaranteed! The four kings are set aside. A chosen card (for example, the 5 of Hearts), placed among the four kings, changes into one of the kings: the King of Spades. Then all the cards in the packet become identical: they are all Kings of Spades. In the end, the magician ends up with only one King of Spades... and the other four cards turn into a four fives! Dominique Duvivier performs one of Eddy Taytelbaum wonders (no explanation). Three small different colors rings are enclosed in a small pagoda-shaped box. One of the colored is freely chosen by a spectator. The corresponding ring is mysteriously imprisoned on a small magic wand that has been placed through the pagoda!

The magician explains that his fingers have a memory independent of his own consciousness, and can therefore perform miracles by themselves! A deck of cards is shuffled by the spectators, and placed in a large opaque cloth bag. The magician plunges his hands in, his fingers "start working" out of his control... and extracts from the deck a Royal Flush of Spades! Everything is handled out for examination. A real killer! A " Tsunami " of madness! Tsunami is a Japanese word that means "tidal wave". It is a trick that will devastate the brains of your audience, whether they are laymen or magicians. The spectator chooses a card, and loses it. He shuffles and cuts the deck a lot of times; the magician does not touch the cards. Despite these extreme laboratory conditions, the magician finds the chosen card without asking any questions! A real killer. To buy an ordinary deck of cards click here.

The four kings are put aside. The rest of the cards are given to the spectator who shuffles them, and chooses three cards, which are lost in the deck. Without any apparent move, the three cards are "collected" between the kings. An easy and direct version of this classic of card magic. Success guaranteed! The spectator chooses a card under extreme laboratory conditions. The magician takes out of his wallet, which has been on the table from the beginning, all the bills that were in it: there are €85. On one of the bills, there is written in black felt pen the name of a card: it is the name of the card that has been chosen! Dominique Duvivier demonstrates a new Eddy Taytelbaum wonder (no explanation). A little Chinese magician finds the card chosen by a spectator in a completely unpredictable way.

Four cards taken at random from the deck ALL change one by one into the card previously chosen by the spectator, and then instantly, these four cards change into four kings! For the climax, you show that what you just did is impossible... since all the other cards in the deck are identical, but different from the kings and the chosen card! The "Linking Rings" close-up version, with three bracelets... that are handed for examination at the end of the trick! A killer!

The first version of this trick was described on this platform as "Double Open Prediction with Double Prediction". The version described here is the "ultimate" version in that the deck is handed out for examination at the end! Based on a routine by Gaetan Bloom, here is Dominique Duvivier's version which combines Prediction and Open Prediction, this last effect being performed in double! An absolute killer!
